Ansley Scott Odum
Live Big was founded in honor of our daughter, Ansley Scott Odum. Early in her life we noticed she had unpredictable health issues, and by age nine, Anz had a myriad of complicated diagnoses. But she was determined not to let her illness define her. Ansley came into this world determined to Live Big. Inquisitive, bright, and creative by nature, she discovered a deep love for music and theater and used her gifts to spread joy to those around her. Although many days of her 19 years were difficult, her strong will and ambition led her to make the most of her circumstances and live a big life until the end. Because of Ansley’s inspiring journey, we are determined that Live Big be a testament to her life by helping other kids and young adults discover what makes their hearts sing and learn how they can use their passions to contribute to joy in the world.

Found among her devices were many of her original songs and lyrics. The release of Ansley’s single, “Battlefield,” marked her 7-month departure from life with us. It is a story of her ongoing struggle with chronic illness, but her absolute belief that God is good. Her EP, Sliver of Light, releases soon.
